WHAT WE DO

 

Creativity,
expression

There are both physical and mental benefits from creating and expressing yourself in a tangible way, and sharing something with the world.
Creating or expressing ourselves offers an outlet and a release from all our daily stresses. Take a minute to ignore all the incoming signals and create an outgoing one instead. Produce something.

Express yourself in some way. If you contribute rather than consume, anything you do can be a work of art.

 

Organizing
workshops

We aim to offer a variety of workshops that create containers for meaningful and real dialogue between young people.

Our workshops will be creating youth-centered spaces for conversation rather than talking at or lecturing our youth. With many of the stresses that come daily having a toll on us all 

The youth are our future and we can all assist them with their transition in a way that does not suppress their inner selves but allows them to truly shine and be the stars they were born to be.
 

Fundraising
events

We hold a variety of fundraising events to achieve our goal of creating a youth centre for our local town of Lampeter, Ceredigion.

Although there are several different activities for the youth to attend, the majority of these are unaffordable for low income families. We want to give the youth somewhere for them to express themselves freely at no or very little cost.

With your help you can help us help the youth to a brighter future.

Our current fundraising events include table top sales, live entertainment, movie nights and more...
ABOUT US

Gaia United is a Community Interest Company, registered in Wales and created with the intention of uniting, first and foremost; local communities, with opportunities to expand into wider community bases.

Giving them a sense of their own responsibility as part of a team, which in turn will also gain them experience in team building progressively building a society that can consider how their actions can affect not only themselves but the wider community.

Our aim is to build connections within the community in order to build; strong, healthy, long-lasting relationships between all members and to teach appreciation of our Mother Earth and all inhabitants.

UPCOMING FUNDRAISERS

THE NIGHTMARE THAT STOLE CHRISTMAS

Gaia United are teaming up with local artists and musicians to bring to you a night of eye opening terror of the 21st century materialistic world.

Christmas isn't about how much money we can spend, or how many gifts we can acquire. It’s about coming together with loved ones, with family, and friends, putting all other matters aside and uniting, in the name of peace and love.

Winter & December, both symbolise endings, the end of the year, the end of the seasons cycle. We can learn from nature, in this sense to lay the years sorrows to rest and allow the time to replenish and refocus, for springs new life to be reborn and life to blossom again.

We will be exhibiting art decor throughout the evening, to highlight the matter-real taking over the TRUTH, the true meaning of Christmas being LOVE and care for one another. These pieces will be available to buy at the end of the evening.

There will be live music from local musicians and DJs. Food, drinks, laugh's and love.

Get creative and bring out your best costumes! Add a spooky twist to your Christmas attire.
